Leadership
Miroslav Grajewski, P.E.
President & CEO
"I want more to be built, more to be done, more potential to be realized. When we help make something happen that most people had given up on — and we were the ones who stayed and delivered — I want to be there for that. Full potential realized. That's why I do this."
Miroslav Grajewski, P.E., has led ZUVIC as President and CEO since 2020. He joined the firm in 2012 as a civil engineer, managed projects from 2016, and served as Vice President and Director of Business Development before taking the helm. He knows the sites, permits and programs ZUVIC takes on from the inside.
His focus is the firm's people and the clients they serve: modernizing how ZUVIC works, growing the team, and deepening relationships that reach back decades, among them more than twenty years as Goodwin University's engineering firm. That relationship began with a proposal his father, Tomek Grajewski, P.E., signed in 2004.
A graduate of Loomis Chaffee in Windsor, Connecticut, Miroslav holds a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Connecticut and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Connecticut. He is president of the Connecticut chapter of the Entrepreneurs' Organization.
How we work
What you can hold us to.
One person owns your scope.
Not a coordinator who relays messages. The person who read the scope is accountable for it from start to finish.
You hear from us before you have to ask.
If something changes in the field, on the schedule or at the town, you know before your client or your lender does.
Environmental and civil, at the same time.
Our Licensed Environmental Professionals and civil engineers work from the same plan, so one track doesn't wait for the other.
We tell you the truth before you commit.
What's realistic, what it will take, and where the decision points are — before you've spent money you can't get back.
We stay through to done.
The report isn't the finish line. The approval, the closed file and the building are.
Our people
The people you'll work with.

Miroslav Grajewski, P.E.
Miroslav is usually the first call when a new site comes in. He started at ZUVIC in 2012 as a civil engineer, worked through project management and business development, and has led the firm since 2020. He tells you plainly what the site needs, what it will take, and who at ZUVIC will own it.

Victoria Man, LEP
Tory has more than 30 years in environmental work and has led ZUVIC's environmental practice since 2009. She has taken sites from Phase I to state closure on Goodwin University's riverfront campus, at airports and industrial plants, and for New Haven's Route 34 Downtown Crossing, and she sits on the Capitol Region's brownfields steering committee.

Galen Semprebon, P.E.
Galen has more than 40 years of site and civil engineering behind him. He has designed and permitted multifamily and age-restricted communities, dozens of subdivisions, and two historic Hartford industrial buildings converted to apartments and shops, as well as more than 12 Walmart stores across New England, Aldi's 500,000-square-foot distribution warehouse and a new high school for Goodwin.

Daniel Pinho, LEP
Dan takes commercial, industrial and utility sites from first sample to final report. His work runs from Eversource's decommissioned substations and wastewater treatment plants to tank closures across Connecticut and due diligence on up to 50 potential waste-facility acquisitions in five states, and he handles hazardous building materials before renovation or demolition.

Daniel Gallagher, PLA
Dan has spent 19 years designing the places people use, including 14 New York City school playgrounds and athletic fields and track-and-turf complexes up to 437,000 square feet. At ZUVIC he leads the 41-unit Louis Street apartments in Newington, a new covered athletic facility at Choate Rosemary Hall, and a multi-phase desktop utility survey across the MDC's Hartford service area.
